Now that I have received some feedback on the rough edit of my documentary, I could now put together the full version of other things that I have not included yet such as cutaways. I decided to feature cutaways in the interviews of my documentary. I chose to have them in my interviews because it helped with the pace of my documentary and made it look more relevant for the visual of my topic. The main advantage was that I had filmed the radio one presenter's awards and other props in his studio. This indicated to me that I could use these as cutaways to introduce him or even when he explains a certain topic.
As I have three interviews contributing in my documentary, I did not have to record a voiceover to ask the questions to my interviewee. However I added a voiceover to the remaining two of my interviews. This was simply because I did not ask my interviewee the questions when the camera was framed on them. Instead I asked my interviewee the question with the camera focused on me. To save time I ended up cutting myself out of myself in the interview to save time.
