Production Log Week 3 Interview with PRS

Production Log Reflection Week 3
Interview with PRS

I spent this week trying to get in contact with a contributor called PRS. PRS are a organisation that claims royalty for the music industries and artists everytime their music is advertised or used. I first recieved an email from the assistant manager of PR telling me that they would be happy to help. However she mentioned that this would be a phone interview to gather all the information that I would need. She also asked if I could do the interview this Thursday, this seemed like a problem as it was so short notice. She then asked me if I could send another email with the list of questions I wanted to ask.

Seeing as this interview would be the most important interview of my illegal music downolading documentary, I felt that an interview over the phone would not be enough and that I should first see if it was likely to have a face to face interview. The idea of this was that I would be able to see as well as hear the information I recieved. A face to face interview would be useful to switch from the presenter the the interviewee in a few cutaways to make my documentary more engaging. After arranging this interview, I then got an answer saying that I would be able to go to their office at 12:30 and interview the head of PR in Oxford Circus.

After showing the assistant manager the set of questions I wanted to ask the day before my interview, I recieved a reply that the interview that I wanted to do face to face is all set up and ready and that she would see me tomorrow.
