My key aims for this week were to to gather a contact list of all the people that will take part in my documentary. I had to do this via email or phone to arrange an interview in a set location. I have managed to contact all of the contributors to participate in my documentary and only 2 out of 6 contributors including vox-pops around Lakeside have replied.
Here are the contributors I have contacted from this week in each of my lessons
Tuesday: Lakeside shopping centre: REPLYED
Wednesday: Apple store Lakeside: NO REPLY
Thursday: Illegal downloader: REPLYED Dj: NO REPLY

Friday: PRS and Spotify: NO REPLY NO REPLY
I have come across some challenges this week as some of my contributors have not got back to me yet telling me if they want to take part or if it is possible for an interview. Another dilemma is that my illegal downloader does not want me to use his house to interview him but is fine with an interview somewhere else. Furthermore I did not want to use the apple store to host my interview about legal downloading.
In terms of contingency, I have sent another email to my Dj on Facebook to see what the latest new is on interviewing him in the radio 1 station. If I cannot film him in the radio 1 station, then I will film him at his house in his studio. I may have to reconsider filming the illegal downloader at my house in my front room with him holding a laptop to see what he is doing.
To add to the list I have decisively emailed an organization to interview called Spotify as appose to iTunes. This organization allows you to download music legally and I have this alternative just in case the apple store interview in lakeside is not possible. I have also found another website called PRS that collects royalty for the music industry and artists. This will be my greatest source as they would be able to produce information on how illegal downloading affects the music industry. However I have not had a reply from PRS, Spotify or My Dj or The Apple Store. I may have to phone Spotify, The Apple Store and PRS to arrange an interview and will again phone my Dj to see if this interview is practical.
